Anti-PEPCK1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PEPCK1 antigen is another term for the human protein phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1, encoded by the PCK1 gene. The protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and insulin signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 622 residues and a mass of 69.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and cytoplasm and it is expressed in the rectum, kidney, duodenum, colon, and appendix. The PEPCK1 protein is a member of the Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase [GTP] protein family. Other alias names for PEPCK1 include PCKDC and PEPCK-C. Western Blot is the most common application for the PEPCK1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
