Anti-IMD2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The IMD2 antigen is another term for the human protein WASP actin nucleation promoting factor, encoded by the WAS gene. The protein is known to function in epidermis development, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 502 residues and a mass of 52.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be highly expressed in the thymus.
