Anti-Cellular retinoic acid binding protein 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CRABP1 in humans. The gene may also be known as Crabp, CRABP-I, CRABPI, RBP5, and cellular retinoic acid-binding protein I. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 15.6 kilodaltons in mass. The CRABP1 marker can be used to identify Mueller Cells.* Based on gene name, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
