Anti-OR5L2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily L member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 311 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR5L2 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include HTPCRX16, OR11-153, olfactory receptor 5L2, olfactory receptor OR11-153, and HSHTPCRX16. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR5L2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
