Anti-PROS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PROS is a known alias name of the protein protein S, encoded by the PROS1 gene in humans. This protein has a canonical amino acid length of 676 residues and a mass of 75.1 kDa. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in plasma. The term PS21 is another synonym for PROS. Some PROS antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
