Anti-ArgRS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ArgRS is a known alias name of the protein arginyl-tRNA synthetase 1, encoded by the RARS1 gene in humans. This 660-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Class-I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase protein family. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebral cortex and hippocampus.
