Anti-GILT antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GILT is a known alias name of the protein IFI30 lysosomal thiol reductase, encoded by the IFI30 gene in humans. This 250-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in protein stabilization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the lysosomes and is secreted of the cell and features N-glycosylated and cleaved post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term IP-30 is another synonym for GILT. Indicated applications for GILT antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
