Anti-SFXN2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sideroflexin 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 322 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. It is reported to be widely expressed, highest levels in the kidney, liver, and pancreas. It is a member of the Sideroflexin protein family. SFXN2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the SFXN2 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
