The gene may also be known as SPG18, C8orf2, Erlin-2, NET32, SPFH2, erlin-2, and SPFH domain family, member 2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 37.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
