Anti-Rap2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Rap2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RAP2A gene, which encodes RAP2A, member of RAS oncogene family. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of Rap2 has a canonical amino acid length of 183 residues and a protein mass of 20.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the endosome of cells. Other names for this target antigen include K-REV and KREV. Indicated applications for Rap2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
