Anti-OSP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target OSP is a known alias name of the protein claudin 11, encoded by the CLDN11 gene in humans. This 207-amino acid residue protein is known to play an important role in tight junction-specific obliteration of the intercellular space, through calcium-independent cell-adhesion activity. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the duodenum and skin. Other synonyms for OSP include HLD22 and OTM. Western Blot is the most common application for the OSP antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
