Anti-PAF49 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PAF49 antigen is another term for the human protein RNA polymerase I subunit G, encoded by the POLR1G gene. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 510 residues and a mass of 55 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The PAF49 protein is a member of the Eukaryotic RPA34 RNA polymerase subunit protein family. Other alias names for PAF49 include ASE-1, ASE1, and CAST. Western Blot is a widely used application for the PAF49 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
