Anti-C1INH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C1INH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SERPING1 gene, which encodes serpin family G member 1. This protein is known to function in pathways of aging and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of C1INH has a canonical amino acid length of 500 residues and a protein mass of 55.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the skin. This target antigen may also be known as C1IN. Western Blot is the most common application for the C1INH antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
