Anti-RRP44 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RRP44 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DIS3 gene, which encodes DIS3 homolog, exosome endoribonuclease and 3'-5' exoribonuclease. This protein is known to function in rRNA processing, among other biological roles. The human version of RRP44 has a canonical amino acid length of 958 residues and a protein mass of 109 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include 2810028N01Rik, EXOSC11, and KIAA1008.
