Anti-CACHD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cache domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1274 amino acid residues and a mass of 142.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Calcium channel subunit alpha-2/delta protein family, CACHD1 is believed to regulate voltage-dependent calcium channels. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include cache domain-containing protein 1, von Willebrand factor type A and cache domain containing 1, and VWFA and cache domain-containing protein 1. CACHD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CACHD1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
