Anti-SK antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SK is a known alias name of the protein dickkopf WNT signaling pathway inhibitor 1, encoded by the DKK1 gene in humans. This 266-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the Wnt signaling pathway and brain development, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Western Blot is the most common application for the SK antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
