The gene may also be known as RRP44, 2810028N01Rik, EXOSC11, KIAA1008, exosome complex exonuclease RRP44, and DIS3 exosome endoribonuclease and 3'-5' exoribonuclease. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 109 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, yeast, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
