Anti-MTK1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MTK1 is a known alias name of the protein mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 4, encoded by the MAP3K4 gene in humans. This 1608-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the protein kinase signal transduction cascade. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed at high levels in the heart, placenta, skeletal muscle and pancreas, and at lower levels in other tissues. Other synonyms for MTK1 include MAPKKK4, MAPKKK4, and MEKK 4. Indicated applications for MTK1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
