Anti-KARAP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the KARAP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TYROBP gene, which encodes transmembrane immune signaling adaptor TYROBP. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of KARAP has a canonical amino acid length of 113 residues and a protein mass of 12.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and bone marrow. Other names for this target antigen include DAP12 and DAP12. Indicated applications for KARAP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
