Anti-TMSB4Y antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein thymosin beta 4 Y-linked. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 44 amino acid residues and a mass of 5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Thymosin beta protein family, TMSB4Y is known to play an important role in the organization of the cytoskeleton. Synonyms for this target antigen include thymosin beta-4, Y-chromosomal, thymosin, beta 4, Y chromosome, and TB4Y. These TMSB4Y antibodies are widely used in ELISA experiments, among other applications.
