Anti-DLK2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein delta like non-canonical Notch ligand 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 383 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. DLK2 is reported to regulate adipogenesis. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include EGF-like protein 9, EGF-like-domain, multiple 9, delta-like 2 homolog, epidermal growth factor-like protein 9, and protein delta homolog 2. DLK2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some DLK2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
