Anti-BCA3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target BCA3 is a known alias name of the protein A-kinase interacting protein 1, encoded by the AKIP1 gene in humans. This protein has a canonical amino acid length of 210 residues and a mass of 23.1 kDa. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed at high levels in adult heart and at lower levels in the brain, testis, ovary and skeletal muscle. Indicated applications for BCA3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
