Anti-MP68 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MP68 antigen is another term for the human protein ATP synthase membrane subunit j, encoded by the ATP5MJ gene. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 58 residues and a mass of 6.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The MP68 protein is a member of the Small mitochondrial proteolipid protein family. Other alias names for MP68 include 6.8PL, ATP5MPL, and C14orf2.
