Anti-PO4DB antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PO4DB antigen is another term for the human protein prolyl 4-hydroxylase subunit beta, encoded by the P4HB gene. The protein is known to function in the cellular response to hypoxia and Golgi transport, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 508 residues and a mass of 57.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and cell membrane and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The PO4DB protein is a member of the Protein disulfide isomerase protein family. Other alias names for PO4DB include CLCRP1, DSI, and ERBA2L. Over 110 citations in the literature describe the use of PO4DB antibodies in research. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies.
