Anti-NHERF2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NHERF family PDZ scaffold protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 337 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cell membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. NHERF2 is reported to be a scaffold protein that connects plasma membrane proteins with members of the ezrin/moesin/radixin family and thereby helps to link them to the actin cytoskeleton and to regulate their surface expression. Synonyms for this target antigen include NHE3RF2, OCTS2, SIP-1, SIP1, SLC9A3R2, TKA-1, Na(+)/H(+) exchange regulatory cofactor NHE-RF2, and E3KARP. Indicated applications for NHERF2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
