Anti-Mi2-ALPHA antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene CHD3, or 'chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 3' in humans. The 2000-amino acid protein is a member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
