Anti-MEKK antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MEKK antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAP3K1 gene, which encodes mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 1. This protein is known to function in protein phosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of MEKK has a canonical amino acid length of 1512 residues and a protein mass of 164.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
