Anti-IPL1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IPL1 is a known alias name of the protein aurora kinase B, encoded by the AURKB gene in humans. This 344-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in pathways of aging and cell proliferation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. Other synonyms for IPL1 include AIK2, AIM-1, and AIM1. Western Blot is the most common application for the IPL1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
