Anti-GL183 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GL183 is a known alias name of the protein killer cell immunoglobulin like receptor, two Ig domains and long cytoplasmic tail 3, encoded by the KIR2DL3 gene in humans. This 341-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor on natural killer (NK) cells for HLA-C alleles (HLA-Cw1, HLA-Cw3 and HLA-Cw7). It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for GL183 include CD158B2 and CD158b. Western Blot is the most common application for the GL183 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
