Anti-Fragile histidine triad diadenosine triphosphatase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FHIT in humans. The gene may also be known as AP3Aase, FRA3B, bis(5'-adenosyl)-triphosphatase, and AP3A hydrolase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 16.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, yeast, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
