Anti-FH1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FH1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FLNB gene, which encodes filamin B. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of FH1 has a canonical amino acid length of 2602 residues and a protein mass of 278.2 kilodaltons, although 9 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include ABP-278, ABP-280, and AOI. Some FH1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
