Anti-FcGR antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FcGR antigen is another term for the human protein Fc gamma receptor IIa, encoded by the FCGR2A gene. The protein is known to bind to the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 317 residues and a mass of 35 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lung, endometrium, and bone marrow. Other alias names for FcGR include CD32, CD32A, and CDw32. Western Blot is a widely used application for the FcGR antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
