ENA may refer to extractable nuclear antigens, a set of protein antigens that are readily extracted from cell nuclei using saline. ENA antibodies are commonly used in panels to test for autoimmune diseases. Among the key proteins represented by ENA are Ro, La, Sm, RNP, Scl-70, and Jo1. ‘ENA’ as an antibody target may also refer to human genes ENA-78 (CXCL5) and ENAH (ENAH actin regulator).
