Anti-CLIP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CAP-Gly domain containing linker protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1046 amino acid residues and a mass of 115.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include CLIP-115, CYLN2, WBSCR3, WBSCR4, WSCR3, WSCR4, Williams-Beuren syndrome chromosome region 3, and CLIP. CLIP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CLIP2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
