The gene may also be known as AFAP, AFAP-110, AFAP110, 110 kDa actin filament-associated protein, and actin filament-associated protein, 110 kDa. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 80.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
