Anti-CRF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CRF is a known alias name of the protein corticotropin releasing hormone, encoded by the CRH gene in humans. This 196-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in chemical synaptic transmission and inflammatory response pathways, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications.
