Anti-NK2R antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene TACR2, or 'tachykinin receptor 2' in humans. The 398-amino acid protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
