Anti-PDGFR1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PDGFR1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PDGFRB gene, which encodes platelet derived growth factor receptor beta. This protein is known to function in pathways of aging and cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of PDGFR1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1106 residues and a protein mass of 124 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, lysosomes, and cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the skin and testis. Other names for this target antigen include CD140B, CD140B, and IBGC4. Western Blot is the most common application for the PDGFR1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
