Anti-AIP2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AIP2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the WWP2 gene, which encodes WW domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 2. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription and the regulation of gene expression, among other biological roles. The human version of AIP2 has a canonical amino acid length of 870 residues and a protein mass of 98.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells.
