Anti-APO2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target APO2 is a known alias name of the protein TNF receptor superfamily member 10a, encoded by the TNFRSF10A gene in humans. This 468-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TNFSF10/TRAIL. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features palmitoylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for APO2 include CD261 and DR4. Some APO2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
