Anti-ubiquitin specific peptidase 17 like family member 7 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the USP17L7 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 530 amino acid residues and a mass of 59.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and ER. A member of the Peptidase C19 protein family, it is known to be involved with protein deubiquitination and the regulation of apoptosis. Other names for this target antigen include ubiquitin specific peptidase 17-like 7, and inactive ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 17-like protein 7.
