Anti-TLCD4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TLC domain containing 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 263 amino acid residues and a mass of 30 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. A member of the TLCD4 protein family, TLCD4 is known to be involved with the metabolism of lipids. Synonyms for this target antigen include TLC domain-containing protein 4 and transmembrane protein 56. TLCD4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
