Anti-FHF complex subunit HOOK interacting protein 1A antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FHIP1A gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1040 amino acid residues and a mass of 116.6 kDa. A member of the FHIP protein family, it is a suspected component of the FTS/Hook/FHIP complex (FHF complex). Other names for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 160 member A1, protein FAM160A1, and FTS and Hook-interacting protein like. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
