Anti-ATAC antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ATAC antigen is another term for the human protein X-C motif chemokine ligand 1, encoded by the XCL1 gene. The protein is known to function in cell to cell signaling and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 114 residues and a mass of 12.5 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is reported to be highly expressed in spleen, lower in peripheral leukocytes and very low levels in the lung, colon and small intestine.
