Anti-FHF complex subunit HOOK interacting protein 1B antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FHIP1B gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 972 amino acid residues and a mass of 105.6 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. A member of the FHIP protein family, it is a known component of the FTS/Hook/FHIP complex (FHF complex). Other names for this target antigen include FTS and Hook-interacting protein and family with sequence similarity 160 member A2. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
