Anti-DYNLT4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein light chain Tctex-type 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 221 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, cell projections, and cytoplasm. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the Dynein light chain Tctex-type protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include Tctex2 beta, novel Tctex-1 family domain-containing protein, protein N22.1, tctex-2-beta, tctex1 domain-containing protein 4, and Tctex1 domain containing 4. DYNLT4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
