Anti-PWWP3B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PWWP domain containing 3B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 696 amino acid residues and a mass of 79 kDa. It is notably expressed in the testis, placenta, ovary, epididymis, and endometrium. It is a member of the PWWP3A protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include MUM1 like 1, MUM1-like protein 1, PWWP domain-containing protein MUM1L1, melanoma associated antigen (mutated) 1-like 1, and PWWP domain-containing DNA repair factor 3B. PWWP3B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
