Anti-GATD3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein glutamine amidotransferase class 1 domain containing 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 268 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the GATD3 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include ES1, GATD3A, GT335, HES1, KNPH, and C21orf33. GATD3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
