Anti-ITPR interacting domain containing 2 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the ITPRID2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1259 amino acid residues and a mass of 138.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the pancreas and testis. Post-translational modifications have been described, including protein cleavage. Other names for this target antigen include CS1, KRAP, SPAG13, SSFA2, protein ITPRID2, and CS-1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
