In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 874 amino acid residues and a mass of 97.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, Golgi, and cytoplasm. A member of the COPG protein family, it is known to be involved with Golgi transport and intracellular protein transport.
